Yes, times are changing.

The good news: the world won't end on December 21, 2012, so there ya go. No worries. Life will go on, and you won't die, at least not because of 2012. You might die of cancer, old age or because a mac truck hit you, but most likely you'll live.

But the riots won't end. They'll keep going. In your lifetime (unless you get hit by the mac truck) you'll see martial law declared in several (more than three) major U.S. cities. I don't know a time frame. Yes, prices on stuff, a lot of stuff, but not all stuff will go haywire, then prices on stuff, the kind of stuff people really need will go way up.

And you may not be affected much because of where you live. Good for you, but don't down-play what happens to others just because it's not happening to you. And don't fall back asleep if you hear of a dirty bomb on U.S. soil. Actually that'd be a good time to wake up. Or you can wake up now. That'd be even better. You know why? Because when the world is at it's darkest, that's the greatest time to shine.

So shine on you bright star.
